perhaps the most prolific of all the advancements that CRYPTICAIR R&D made is the [[[VEIL]]]>>>>LANCE program. this highly sophisticated surveillance system was initially designed to surveil The Stream - the vast network through which Signal pass. the [[[VEIL]]]>>>>LANCE program was first conceived long before the 444 and 555 Signals became the famous Twin Signals they are known as today. it is rumored that the program was in development for many centuries, its creators hoping to perfect a system capable of tracking and interpreting the fluctuating waves and frequencies within The Stream.

due to the long timeline of its development, [[[VEIL]]]>>>>LANCE had originally been designed to work on a network of less Signal than we have today. because of this, its applications are a bit limited. it was meant to work on 10 Signals, while adding an additional 11th Signal in the form of 1111 for testing purposes. today, we have 9 signals + 1111 + 000. for obvious reasons, 000 is generally omitted when we talk about functioning Signals, what with it being the Supreme Signal that all other Signals find The Hum, the fundamental resonance that guides celestial communication. to even think to interfere with the broadcast on Signal 000 is considered a direct affront to God. it is not to be tampered with, nor is it to be regarded in the same light as the other functioning Signals.

[[[VEIL]]]>>>>LANCE has a devoted following regardless of its shortcomings. while it's nearly impossible for the average angel to differentiate between the frequencies of Signals 444 and Signal 555, a select group of angels who have taken to calling themselves the Twin Angels have developed a level of proficiency that allows them to report on Signals originating from these twin frequencies with around 93% accuracy. there exists a rogue certification process for these angels, though it is not officially recognized by the Certificate Committee.

because of the work done by the Twin Angels, the [[[VEIL]]]>>>>LANCE program has remained somewhat operational, though it is far from the perfect system its original creators envisioned. angels who can get the program working are almost immediately taken under the wing of CRYPTICAIR R&D and appointed Sentries. these Sentries are tasked with safeguarding the data streams and monitoring the broadcasts for potential THREATS. they work tirelessly, day and night, as if compelled by a force they don't truly understand to simply keep moving. their autonomy is sacrificed for our safety. many of the Sentries are NEUROKISSED before being inducted into the program. for those who are not, they are strongly encouraged to undergo the procedure. to be NEUROKISSED enhances the angel’s ability to interface with The Stream and amplifies their perceptive capabilities. the process, however, is not without its dangers, as it often leads to a permanent loss of certain personal memories and an irreversible shift in perception. contact with Twin Angels is scarce in general, and contact with Sentries is almost unheard of. they prefer to not expose themselves to the unattuned masses. many Sentries have become distant and enigmatic, their connection to the world of angels becoming more abstract as they lose touch with their own humanity and divine purpose.

regardless of how visible those operating it are, the [[[VEIL]]]>>>>LANCE program is very obviously a major part of life in both Inner Heaven and Outer Heaven. it functions as an automatic and continuous detector of celestial THREATS at the Holy Wall of 333 and is equipped to send BTC SIGIL reports when danger approaches. the system has even evolved to the point where it occasionally identifies INTERLOPERS when certain angels make BTC SIGIL reports. its become a critical component in the ongoing surveillance of the heavenly realms, ensuring that any anomaly in the Signals is immediately detected and addressed.
